Digital Grid is an interactive surface created by Michaël Verlinde. The public is invited to play with this amazing surface and create turbulence. The grid detects human movement and responds with physics simulation and particles. Digital Grid is an experiment to create a new digital space. When people interact with the surface, the grid responds to them and transforms.

Digital Grid is like an interactive light carpet with psychedelic, poetic power. Interactive and playful, the carpet plays with imaginary wave-like perspectives. The audience is invited to play with its lines and gravitational forces. A physical reaction of mutual attraction is created, allowing the audience to virtually interact with the animation.

The aim of the project is to bring the public together and provide a fun, relaxing space for groups or families to enjoy.
