A music performance around a magical natural phenomenon of a flower that only blooms at night. A mystical night concert in a compelling trip to a unique musical universe with influences of minimal music and non-Western music.

Mark Lotz is a jazz and avant-garde artist who embraces the pure beauty in music and nature. Born in Tübingen, raised in Berlin, Bangkok and Kampala. Subject of many international publications, prize winner, nominated for the Edison and Beyond Magazine prize. He has worked with Chris Potter Tentet David Tronzo, Don Byron, Carlos Zingaro, Conga legend Miguel 'Anga' Diaz, the 'Nightingale of Tibet' Namghyal Lhamo, soloists of the 'Conjunto Folklorico National De Cuba', Moldovan visionist Anatol Steffanet, among others. Thomas Strønen, electronic music pioneer Bob Ostertag or 'Indian Underground' star Najma Akhtar. But also with Dutch artists such as Theo Lovendie, Zuco 103, Giovanca, Wouter Hamel, Michiel Borstlap, Ernst Reijseger, Han Bennink and Wolter Wierbos.
