SALAMANDER

This five-piece band recently made a fresh start at the Utrecht Conservatory and is now eager to show what it has to offer. Composed of guitar, double bass, drums, vocals and trumpet, this group of young dogs provides a mix of danceable neo-soul/funk à la D'Angelo, RH factor or Jordan Rakei that will raise the energy level in the room. The band is not averse to tightly performed covers of their great funk examples, but mainly plays their own work. In addition to beats, this band also has humor: their own Dutch/English repertoire consists of politically engaged songs or songs about nothing, songs about everything or just nice songs. In short: good vibes guaranteed!
