Virtual timetravelling in Leiden

With modern digital techniques you can bring the past to life and introduce a larger audience to the past. This is what the Hidden City Foundation aims to achieve, including by making Virtual Reality reconstructions of the past. The aim is to make people aware of the historical value of their own city and the importance of its preservation. Hidden City has already completed several projects in Leiden. Current projects include the reconstruction of disappeared city gates and places that were important for the Leiden Relief of 1574. Take a look at www.canals5d.nl and zoom in on Leiden.
